Anise Essential Oil - Illicium verum

Anise Essential Oil is steam distilled from the seeds of the star-shaped fruit from a plant native to Asia. It has an aroma very reminiscent of black licorice. It possesses antiseptic and antifungal properties and is known as a diuretic and stimulant. In aromatherapy, it can help promote concentration. Great for use in baths, massage, mist spray, and steam inhalation.

Scent Characteristics: Warm, spicy, extremely sweet; licorice like fragrance.
